Yesterday evening I appeared on the 7pm Russia Today news bulletin being interviewed about the Brexit negotiations.
The story was taken up on the Daily Express website today.
Just one thing, I wish people would stop referring to Brexit as a ‘divorce’. It is a false comparison.
The UK was never legally ‘married’ to the EU. We were taken into an unlawful union by means of lies and deception.
And while I will freely admit that the EU has done its best to consummate the union over the last 44 years, in a divorce both partners usually split the assets, one side does not get a massive bill.
Thanks goodness that Russia Today and the Daily Express are giving me space to put the alternative case for Brexit – forget Article 50, repeal the European Communities Act (1972) and then tell the EU how the separation is going to work for the mutual benefit of both parties!
