My twitter account has just been suspended. The tweet in questions was one where I replied to someone saying:
“No one disputes that. Muslims kill each other for being the wrong kind of Muslim more than they kill infidels. It’s a death cult.”
This of course is just a simple statement of the truth. Far more Muslims are killed in Iraq, Syria etc. because they belong to a particular Islamic sect deemed unacceptable to another Islamic sect, than non-Muslims are killed in terrorist attacks.
Twitter wants me to delete the text. I won’t be doing that.
But if you follow me on Twitter, or if you use Twitter, please tweet the following:
Twitter have suspended Gerard Batten MEP for stating a truth about Islam. Go to www.gerardbattenmep.co.uk to read what he said.
I have had it pointed out to me more than once that Muslims kill each other more than non-Muslims, and I have always accepted that fact. It seems odd that Twitter would suspend me for telling a simple truth.
I shall ask Twitter to reinstate me. But I won’t be retracting what I said.
