UKIP has published the latest figures for the UK’s contributions to the EU budget. These figures are taken from the Government’s Pink Book for 2016.
The figures show that the total gross ‘membership fee’ is running at £363 million per week, or £18.9 billion per year.
The net figures, when the UK rebate, and our own money spent in the UK by the EU, is taken out, the figure is £8.2 billion for 2016.
This equates to £159 million per week or £22 million per day.
